Meghan has been a counselor and educator for 22 years, working as both a school counselor and administrator at the secondary level. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) and sees clients individually and in groups. Meghan is passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and families to lead peaceful and fulfilling lives, refining their own definition of success, and creating a life of passion and joy.
"Having worked with teens for more than two decades, I have learned A LOT about their magic, their struggles, and the barriers associated with this ever changing developmental stage. Kids today are facing incredible challenges and often need a trusted expert to help them to resolve confusion, conflict, and stressors and to find joy and contentment again.
In addition to spending my days working with high school students, I have two college-aged children which has ignited a passion for helping college students with the unique struggles that accompany this phase of "in between" - no longer a child, not quite an independent adult. I truly enjoy helping young adults to plan for and navigate this most exciting (and sometimes stressful) period of their lives.
Using a client-centered, solution-focused approach, I work with teens and adults to rediscover balance, grow in their personal identities, and to build confidence in all aspects of their lives.
It is a daily gift and a true privilege to do the work I do. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with your family and to help to ease some of the challenges that come with being a teen/young adult and a parent. "
